“Nothing ever seems too bad, too hard or too sad when you’ve got a Christmas tree in the living room” — Nora Roberts

With or without a Christmas tree, may your holiday season be filled with joy, love, laughter – and delicious food.
Scroll down for a few festive photos.

Happy 2021. It will be better. We have hope. We have vaccines. We will not have Trump — at least not as president. Rejoice. We can be very, very happy.
More to come soon — including a report on my recent back surgery — it’s good.

Lovely photos and setting. Kept watching for a bowl of moules or a tranch of foie gras. Wish we were there!

No moules nor oysters (my favorite) but we did have foie gras.

Hi Leah.
Your Christmas tree is lovely! Likewise Simba the cat. He looks so huggable.
I am very glad that your back surgery went well.
We spent Christmas alone this year as kids and grandchildren are in Vienna.
John and I wish you and Bob a healthy and happy year in 2021.
Take care. Sandra and John.

. . . or when you have a precious cat under the tree! Merry Christmas Leah and Bob! How I wish we could be together. But I share hope with you for the new year. It is 14 degree F. here and trying to snow. I have the blessing of a gas fireplace. Enjoy this day! Love cousin Anne

Hey Leah! It’s inspiring that you keep writing. I’m more into photography these days. Thanks for sharing photos of your home, your Russian treasure and most of all the cats! It makes me so happy to know your surgery went well. I was in and out of the hospital for four months beginning in July. Pneumonia, not Covid, but it was a tough. I guess because of all the smoking I did back in the CJ days, I had to have chest surgery to “clean out” a lung. Oh boy! Gross. Stay healthy and happy in 2021 and best to Bob. Mark and I love your view! Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas to you as well. We enjoyed the photos. I’m a little concerned, is your tree real? The cats look really excited about the holiday. Our love to you and Bob!

Tree real? Of course. No plastic imitations in my house. The cats are thrilled, hoping Santa will put some live mice under the tree.

Merry Christmas for you and Bob, and most important a better New Year for the World.
I have some optimism as the vaccine is coming and the Biden administration takes over.
Good Riddance to Trump and a horrible year.
May our wishes come true as we look upon the Christmas Star.
